When GMC announced the return of the Hummer, people were shocked and grinning with excitement. When GMC announced that it would be all-electric, people were gobsmacked at the thought. Many assumed the 2022 GMC Hummer EV would in no way match up to its original form, but the fact is, this fully electric powerhouse offers so much more. Up to 1,000 horsepower, 3-second acceleration, extreme off-road capabilities, and over 350-miles from a single charge. This SUV really is all that and more. If you aren’t a fan of the SUV style, opt for the Hummer EV pickup which features a spacious bed for optimal cargo storage. Not a fan of confined spaces? Take the roof off and let the sunlight pour over the spacious and innovative interior. The functional and streamlined dash features a 12.3-inch digital driver information display, plus a 13.4-inch infotainment display with features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The luxury brand, Cadillac, has been a household favorite since its start in 1902. From then on, the company has strived for greatness and aimed its sights for the future. It’s that constant drive that has led us to the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq. The luxury crossover offers intelligence, refinement, and class-leading performance with up to 340 horsepower and over 300-miles in battery range. And while the exterior is designed with exclusive features like choreographed exterior LED lighting and an illuminated black crystal faux-grille, the interior offers so much more. Inside of the Lyriq rests an opulent 33-inch advanced LED display that integrates driver information with Cadillac’s infotainment capabilities. The intelligent crossover will also offer advanced safety features through the Cadillac Smart System.
Buick arrived fashionably late to the all-electric game with the global release of the Buick Electra concept. The vehicle’s design is futuristic and free-flowing with smooth lines and indentions that pair with the aerodynamic frame and large, 23” wheels. Buick intends to put two high-performance motors in both the front and the rear that will offer up to 435 kW of power, enabling a 4.3 seconds acceleration rate. The Electra will feature an eConnect system with on-demand driving information, advanced driver assistant system details, and infotainment control. The vehicle will also feature an augmented reality-enhanced head-up display with advanced live-view navigation and the next generation of Buick’s intelligent AI Voice Assistant. And while the EV will only be available in China, its success will lead to future models being released worldwide.
